A mobile attendance system that helps HMTI manage meetings, participants, and QR-based presence tracking in one app.

Presensi HMTI is a mobile app built for HMTI to manage meeting attendance in a more structured way. The app lets authorized users create meetings, add participants, show QR codes, and track attendance from a phone.

The project was built with React Native, Expo Router, TypeScript, and Supabase. It focuses on a practical organization workflow: members can see upcoming meetings, scan QR codes, and check their attendance history.

The existing attendance flow needed to be easier to control during meetings. Manual attendance can be slow, inconsistent, and harder to review after the meeting ends.

The app also had to support different member roles. Some users can create and manage meetings, while regular members only need to view meetings, scan attendance, and manage their profile.

I built the mobile app around Expo Router routes, Supabase tables, and a clear meeting flow. Creators can create meetings, manage participants, and show a QR code that changes based on time.

For attendance, the scanner validates the QR payload, checks meeting time, verifies that the user is a participant, and prevents duplicate attendance records. The app also marks missed meetings when users do not attend after the meeting ends.

The result is a working mobile attendance system for HMTI meetings. It connects meeting creation, participant management, QR scanning, attendance status, and user profiles in one flow.

The project gave the organization a more reliable way to record attendance and gave members a simpler way to know which meetings they need to attend.
